This was a beautiful spot for a picnic with my family. They are currently doing some construction at the property, so it kind of loud and there were dirt piles everywhere, but we still enjoyed oursel…Full review by Ashley W

Visited Bald Knob Cross with family. Very nice and scenic. Had purchased a brick for my parents and had heard a lot of family stories. Def worth the time to go visit.Full review by dtdp19

The property was privately owned and for the most part the cross privately funded. The property owners decided to put it there.

There are said to be 3 states you can see into. From what I was told MO is one of them. Specifically Cape Girardeau. You can see where the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers meet as well. I think with how close TN and KY are to that area they would be the other two states. I'm not too sure on that though. I know you can see parts of the rest of Southern IL too.
