Founded in 1985, the Wichita Warriors exist to promote and foster the growth of the game of soccer among the youth of Wichita Kansas and its surrounding areas; Goddard, Maize, Andale, Cheney, Valley Center, Colwich, and Derby. ​ The Club’s Primary Focus: · good sportsmanship while developing leadership qualities among players, coaches, parents and spectators · developing physical fitness and mental alertness among the youth in our club · creating an environment for growth of the youth into responsible citizens · promoting and further developing the game of soccer among the area youth · teaching and training soccer players and coaches ​ Coaching: The Wichita Warriors FC is a small club with a lot of soccer experience. Our most veteran coach was inducted into the Kansas Coaches Hall of Fame in 2011 and was Coach of the Year at Friends University in 2003. Another coach is currently head coach of a local high school soccer team.
