Hi was looking to go here with my family but I have been put of by the reviews that the beach is over crowded especially as I will be going during school holidays. Can anyone advise of a slightly less crowded beach that still has bars and amenities near by as we will not be hiring a car. Thanks

Hi Kimmy The beach is in reality one long stretch which gets quieter as you walk south away from the noisy bars etc. The downside is that the beach becomes quite rocky and you would be best to get some swim shoes to walk across to the sandy patches. There are a couple of really nice quieter bar/restaurants which I can recommend. Hope you enjoy this beautiful area.
