Created by Tony Gilroy, the series first premiered in 2022. The long-awaited second season finally has a release date after being pushed back significantly from its initial August 2024 release due to the 2023 Hollywood labor strikes. Season 2 is set to hit Disney Plus on April 22, 2025.

Another new showreel of Disney Plus’s upcoming shows has appeared, and alongside new glimpses of Daredevil, Ironheart and Alien: Earth, the first ever footage of Andor season 2 can be seen.

This morning Disney teased its slate of streaming shows coming to Disney+ and Hulu next year, which means, at long last–after closed-door teases and behind-the-scenes snippets –we finally have our first proper look at the return of Andor in the seminal Star Wars show’s second season.

Andor season 2 is bringing back a ship that was first introduced in a video game released all the way back in 1994.
