AS Roma have announced the appointment of former Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who signed a three-year deal with the Giallorossi until the summer 2028. Gasperini, who coached Atalanta from 2016 to 2025,

Gian Piero Gasperini will replace the retired Claudio Ranieri, who finished fifth in the standings last season to qualify for the Europa League, a trophy Gasperini won with his previous club.
