After years of waiting for a bigger and better College Football Playoff, the moment has finally arrived. The bracket is set and the games are here. The inaugural 12-team field has a few surprises after a season wrought with chaos.

The TV ratings proved views were interested. Each of the four games averaged 10.6 million viewers.
