Sean Baker has won the original screenplay Oscar for “Anora,” a comedy-drama about a sex worker who marries the son of a Russian oligarch

On the heels of BAFTA, Golden Globe and Critics Choice award wins, Peter Straughan has now won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for Conclave. This is Straughan’s second Oscar nomination and first win.

As long predicted, writer Peter Straughan earned the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for the Focus Features release directed by Edward Berger, adapted from a Robert Harris novel.
