Connections: Sports Edition is a new version of the popular New York Times word game that seeks to test the knowledge of sports fans. Like the original Connections, the game is all about finding the "common threads between words.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired forward prospect Lucas Mercuri from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick. In addition, the Lightning have announced that they have signed Mercuri to a two-year entry-level contract, which begins next season.
