Approximately 100,000 eggs were reported stolen from the back of a distribution trailer Saturday night (Feb. 1) in Greencastle, Pa. The eggs were from egg producer Pete & Gerry’s Organics. Our calculation: 8,333 dozen eggs at about $5 per dozen equals $41,666.
