On the second night of Hanukkah, city leaders in Kansas City met with members of the Jewish community to recognize and celebrate the festival of lights.

A 10-foot menorah sat at the River Place Plaza in a lighting ceremony marking the second night of the Jewish holiday.

The Chabad Lubavitch Jewish Center of Merrimack Valley held its annual Grand Menorah Lighting at The Park, 36 Bartlet St., on Thursday to celebrate Hanukkah .
