Last week, Israeli public broadcaster Kan published a draft U.S. proposal on a 60-day truce that included a "side letter" between the U.S. and Israel, granting Israel the right to take action against imminent threats to its security in Lebanon.

"We don't base our expectations for a halt of the aggression on political developments... Whether (Kamala) Harris wins or (Donald) Trump wins, it means nothing to us," he said in a recorded address given before Trump declared his victory.

The missile, which landed in a parking lot, causing minor damage, was part of a volley of 10 fired by Hezbollah at central Israel.
