Solid Rock church pastor John-Paul Miller was released from the Myrtle Beach jail Thursday morning after posting bond on an assault charge tied to an obscenity-laced confrontation with a female protester near the Market Common church.

John-Paul Miller was arrested for assault and battery third-degree, according to online records from Myrtle Beach Police Dept. Police responded to a possible assault at 743 Hemlock Avenue,  which is near Solid Rock Church in The Market Common where John-Paul is a pastor.

The Myrtle Beach area man, who has been involved in allegations regarding his relationship with his late wife, Mica Miller, was arrested by Myrtle Beach Police.
