Some Egg Beaters and Bob Evans egg products have been recalled because they may include a cleaning solution, USDA says.

More than 200,000 pounds of liquid egg products have been recalled over a potential contamination of cleaning solution. In an announcement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service on Friday,

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on March 28 that Cargill Kitchen Solutions recalled approximately 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products over possible contamination with sodium hypochlorite, the main ingredient in bleach.

Liquid eggs sold across several states are being voluntarily recalled over concerns the products may contain sodium hypochlorite, or the chemical in bleach.

The recalled products include a variety of the Egg Beaters brand of liquid eggs as well as the Bob Evans brand. Cargill Kitchen Solutions, a Michigan-based supplier, claims the products might contain a cleaning solution with sodium hypochlorite,
