CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Ohio River has hit a moderate state of flooding and the Tri-State is under a flood watch, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, NWS, said. NWS says the river is currently at 57.4 feet and is expected to crest at 60 feet by Monday morning.
Flash flooding will continue and major river flooding will develop from the South into the Ohio Valley this weekend. Severe storms could also produce tornadoes, wind damage and large hail, especially in parts of the South.
The National Weather Service warns of potential flooding across Northeast Ohio as heavy rainfall is expected throughout the night Saturday and into Sunday.
