The mobile vessel for the Pokemon Trading Card Game is about to get more cards, new events and the chance to trade with friends in the next few months.

While trading is still a few months out, though, the Pokémon TCG Pocket team did say Wednesday that it plans to add new booster packs “by the end of the year,” but did not specify a date. Other “new features” are in development, too, which the company plans to announce more in the future.

The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon TCG Pocket will be getting new features like trading and extra booster packs in future updates.

According to Eurogamer, Pokémon TCG Pocket will introduce a card-trading feature at the start of 2025 giving players the long-awaited ability to trade select cards.
