Victor Osimhen scored twice in eight minutes to help Galatasaray beat Tottenham 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday. Osimhen scored his first goal in Europe for Galatasaray after his transfer from Napoli with a precise low shot inside the right post to give the host a 2-1 lead in the 31st minute and added his second eight minutes later by heading home a curled cross from the right by Dries Mertens.

Tottenham travel to the hostile atmosphere of Galatasaray this evening. Spurs have so far won all three of their games in the Europa League this season, with Ange Postecoglou’s side looking in a strong position to secure qualification for the knockout rounds. Still, tonight’s opponents are flying too and are yet to taste defeat themselves.

Galatasaray have started well in their own right after a pair of wins over PAOK and Elfsborg as well as a draw against Latvian outfit RFS. Swedish talent Lucas Bergvall has been given the nod in midfield for Spurs, and 19-year-old Will Lankshear will also get a run out on a critical away night in Turkey.

Like Tottenham, Galatasaray also unbeaten in the competition and sit fifth in the table with two wins and one draw from their three games. After getting knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers, the Turkish outfit started their Europa League campaign with a 3-1 win over PAOK Salonika.
