Sky champion and WNBA legend Allie Quigley has announced her retirement from basketball three years after playing her last game, she announced Tuesday in The Players Tribune.

Quigley had been the Sky's all-time leading scorer before her wife, Courtney Vandersloot, took the record last month.

After more than a decade of creating unforgettable moments, the WNBA star has taken a step back from basketball and a step forward into motherhood.
