Stanford University cybersecurity scholar Riana Pfefferkorn filed a motion Tuesday to unseal the warrants used to execute searches of IU professor Xiaofeng Wang and Nianli Ma’s homes last week. She filed the motion in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

A Stanford University professor has filed a motion to find out why the FBI raided an IU professor's homes. XiaoFeng Wang was fired on March 28, the same day his Bloomington and Carmel homes were raided by the FBI.

XiaoFeng Wang's research at Indiana University focused on security and privacy issues in mobile and cloud computing, and privacy issues in human genomic data.
