Dozens of demonstrators who took part in last spring’s pro-Palestinian protests at UCLA are suing the university and law enforcement agencies, alleging they were unlawfully arrested.

A group including students and faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles are suing the school, alleging the institution violated their civil rights during protests on campus last spring.

A group of 35 pro-Palestinian students, faculty members, legal observers, journalists and activists filed a lawsuit against the University of California, Los Angeles over its handling of last year’s demonstrations against the Israel-Hamas war.
