BOGOTA (Reuters) - Lower oil prices could reduce Colombian state-run oil firm Ecopetrol's profits by up to 12 trillion pesos ($2.76 billion) this year, the company's president warned on Friday.

April 14 (Reuters) - Colombian state-run oil firm Ecopetrol has signed an agreement with AES Colombia to build a cluster of wind farms in the northern province of La Guajira, it said on Monday.

Ecopetrol (EC) shares ended the last trading session 10% higher at $8.95. The jump came on an impressive volume with a higher-than-average number of shares changing hands in the session.
