A new report reveals that several Bay Area bridges have an “unknown level of risk” for collapse and should be evaluated.

Most of the seven California bridges identified as potentially vulnerable are in the Bay Area: the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, the Carquinez Bridge, the Benicia-Martinez Bridge, the Antioch Bridge, the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. The only one in Southern California is the Coronado Bridge in San Diego.
