In a podcast last summer, two women accused Neil Gaiman, the popular and influential comic book author and fantasy novelist, of sexual assault. Since then, others have stepped forward with similar allegations.

Neil and Amanda first met in 2008 at a pivotal time in both of their lives. Amanda was 32 at the time, and Neil, 47, was going through a divorce.
