The National Weather Service (NWS) has been conducting surveys on the damage and already determined that seven tornadoes touched down. On Wednesday, they confirmed two additional tornadoes, bringing the total to nine. The NWS reports that there was an EF-1 in New Haven and an EF-0 in Milan.

The National Weather Service has confirmed nine tornadoes, mostly in mid-Michigan, amid Sunday's weather. One more report in Branch County is still under investigation.
