The San Francisco 49ers' biggest piece of offseason business is trying to get quarterback Brock Purdy signed to a contract extension. Purdy indicated at the end of the 2024 regular season in early January that he would like a new deal done sooner rather than later.

Purdy is unlucky in that he's eligible for a contract extension following the 49ers' injury-plagued season that they finished at 6-11.
