Staff at a Castro Valley comic book store tracked down a suspect connected to a rash of burglaries targeting comic book and collectibles stores.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a person entered the store with a gun and demanded money from the employees.

The alleged crimes happened seven months ago on Aug. 25 at a grocery store in the 2600 block of S. Vermont Avenue, nearly a half mile away from the university's campus. Detectives said the suspect ...
