The rest of the central Alabama and all of south Alabama have no severe weather risk and may not get any rain at all today and tonight, according to the weather service. It will also be windy today, and wind advisories have been issued for a large part of the state (the counties in brown below):
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY SUNDAY: All the stormy weather to our west will eventually shift east on Sunday. Saturday will be another hot day, with a gusty south wind. Rain and storms could reach our western counties on Saturday night after 7 p.m. We will need to monitor this timeframe for a possible strong to severe storm west.
