The Phoenix Suns traded center Jusuf Nurkic to the Charlotte Hornets before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. The former Trail Blazers center was sent to Phoenix before the 2023-24 season in the trade that brought Deandre Ayton and Toumani Camara to Portland.

Micić, 31, started his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2023-24 season. Selected 52nd overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, Micić is a three-time All-EuroLeague selection. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists this season with Charlotte.
