It was previously reported by Annie Costabile of the Sun-Times that White was likely to return to the Indiana Fever, who fired head coach Christie Sides on Sunday. White’s Sun beat Sides’ Fever in 2-0 in the first round of the WNBA playoffs last month.

Stephanie White's Connecticut Sun were 5-1 against the Fever, and Caitlin Clark said White "always had the best scouts against us."

The Indiana Fever is in Stephanie White’s DNA. She said so herself Monday afternoon, as the Hoosier native was introduced as the team’s next head coach. Most recently, White served as the head coach of the Connecticut Sun before returning for her second coaching stint with the Fever.
