Superman is finally ready to soar back into theaters, but that doesn’t mean moviegoers aren’t still thinking about when another icon will join him in James Gunn’s DCU.

James Gunn has commented on Batman's possible DCU suit. Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU officially launched in December 2024 with the animated Creature Commandos series. The first DCU movie, Superman, is now releasing in United States theaters in less than two weeks.

Speaking with Pay Or Wait (via Superhero Hype ), James Gunn suggested Nubia is set to make her live-action debut in his DCU sometime “in the not-too-distant future.”
