Indiana basketball is searching for answers after a second straight blowout loss and changes to the starting lineup could be on the way:

The Hoosiers were outrebounded 51-37. They lost the turnover battle 11-6. Indiana was outscored 60-32 in the first half. Illinois controlled the scoreboard, stat sheet and even the Hoosier faithful as some exited Assembly Hall before halftime.

The rest of the game was a mere formality and it ended with the Illini on top 94-69, a score that does not do justice to how lopsided the game was. It was Indiana's second consecutive loss by 25 after an 85-60 road defeat at the hands Iowa on Saturday. All five of IU's losses this season have come by at least 16 points.

To this point, Indiana is not having the season it expected. Despite having a 13-4 overall record and entering Tuesday 4-2 in Big Ten play, the Hoosiers are currently projected to miss the NCAA Tournament.

The Indiana Hoosiers trail by as many as 30 points in the first half of a home game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

Transfer Luke Goode showed some accountability postgame saying, "We got embarrassed. We have to wear this jersey with more pride as Indiana players."
