Sister of boy who drowned at Smyth camp says Church should have stopped abuser - Edith Nyachuru described her brother Guide, who was 16, as a ‘lovely boy’ who was a good swimmer.

An independent review led by Keith Makin found that Smyth had perpetrated "prolific and abhorrent" abuse over decades and that the response of the Church of England "amounted to a cover-up".

The abuse spanned five decades and three countries with as many as many as 130 boys and young men victimised, a review found.
