The New York Jets didn’t make any big splashes in free agency. But the offseason is not done yet and there’s still time for the new regime to add to a team that has several big depth questions heading into its first season under coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey.

This past weekend at the annual league meetings, new Jets general manager Darren Mougey confirmed that second point. According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, Mougey made it clear that Fields is QB1 for the 2025 NFL season.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields is getting ready for his debut with his new team. Fields, who signed a two-year deal with the Jets this offseason, is set to be the team's starting quarterback.
