FORMER Ross County forward Liam Boyce has left Scotland and returned to his native Northern Ireland to sign for Derry City. The 33-year-old has left Hearts to join the League of Ireland Premier Division outfit on a two-year contract.

Derry City have completed the signings of Northern Ireland internationals Liam Boyce and Gavin Whyte. Striker Boyce has penned a two-year deal with the Candystripes after spending the last five years at Hearts.
