Samsung Galaxy S24 users can now download a new software update. Although it’s not the update people have waited for, it’s still a major one.

Samsung has started rolling out November 2024 security update for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S24 series in the US.

The Galaxy S24 featured a 6.2-inch screen, a slight increase from the 6.1-inch display on the Galaxy S23, with Samsung shrinking the bezels to add more screen space. Rumors tip the Galaxy S25 to have a 6.36 display which would match the size of the iPhone 16 Pro panel. Such a move could increase the size of the Galaxy S25 over the Galaxy S24

Trade-in options are available here, although the top-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra is not listed as an option. The highest value Samsung is for the Z Fold 5 at £480, with similar prices for Google and Apple devices on offer.
