Three men were arrested in San Joaquin County this week following a months-long investigation into drug trafficking crimes, authorities said.

Three people were taken into custody on Saturday after an early morning high-speed chase in Stockton that led to California Highway Patrol officers shooting at the suspects. CHP said the pursuit began after officers assigned to the Stockton area tried to make a traffic stop over sideshow activity and speeding around 2:44 a.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office shared a missing child alert on Friday as they search for an 8-year-old boy with autism. Officials said the boy is nonverbal and ran away from his home in the Questa Village area around 4:45 p.m. The boy was last seen wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt and gray shorts.
