Minnesota authorities have detailed that Vance Luther Boelter allegedly planned to assassinate multiple Democratic lawmakers.

Authorities are investigating reports of "targeted shootings" in suburban Minneapolis in what Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said was an "ongoing situation." The shootings were in Champlin and Brooklyn Park, two neighboring cities about 10 miles from downtown Minneapolis, Walz said Saturday morning.
