EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings and head coach Kevin O'Connell have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract extension. The team announced the extension Tuesday afternoon, with owner and president Mark Wilf calling O'Connell an "innovative play caller, an excellent communicator, and strong leader."

The Minnesota Ice Festival broke the Guinness World Records title for the largest ice maze. An adjudicator with Guinness World Records certified it on Friday. The ice maze at TCO Stadium in Eagan is 18,148.89 square feet. The previous record was set in Buffalo, New York in 2010 at 12,855.68 square feet.

EAGAN (WJON News) -- The Minnesota Vikings are signing head coach Kevin O’Connell to a multi-year contract extension. The team did not release the terms of the agreement. O’Connell’s Vikings went 14-and-3 in the 2024 regular season before losing to the LA Rams in the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs.
