STAFFORD, Texas — Less than 24 hours after a Houston Texans playoff game, Andre Ware, one of the team's radio broadcasters, is already evaluating a new set of players: Basketball players.

Ware went pro after that season and was the No. 7 overall pick of the Detroit Lions in the 1990 draft. He played three seasons in Detroit, only getting six starts in his career.
