James Cameron recently sat down with Empire Magazine to give fans an look inside what they can expect for Avatar 3. Titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, the film is the follow-up to the 2022 film Avatar: The Way of Water.

Fire and Ash, also known as Avatar 3, and stated that audiences will experience a never-before-seen world (news Movie Talkies).

But this time, fans can expect a slight shift in the franchise's familiar moral focus. According to director James Cameron, humans will no longer be the outright bad guys threatening the always peaceful Na'vi.

Fire and Ash has been released. Avatar: Fire and Ash will be released in United States theaters this coming December from 20th Century Studios. The third installment in the Avatar film franchise, Fire and Ash will once again be directed by James Cameron.
