When the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets take the ice for the NHL Stadium Series on March 1 at the Ohio State University, it'll be difficult to locate the octopi and buckeyes on their respective jerseys.

The NHL and sports apparel company Fanatics, who worked closely with the Blue Jackets and Red Wings in designing the jerseys, released both looks on Thursday. This outdoor game, the 43rd staged by the NHL, will be the first for Columbus and the fifth for Detroit.
