After 35 years of serving the Northwest Portland community, McMenamins has announced it will not renew the lease for its Rams Head Pub location.

One of the older McMenamins Pub locations will be no more. After 35 years on the corner of Northwest 23rd Avenue and Hoyt Street, McMenamins Rams Head Pub will close in June. In an announcement on social media, the company says it decided not to renew its lease on the Nob Hill location. McMenamins did not respond to a request for further comment.

It may not be the most beloved McMenamins around (that honor goes to Edgefield, of course), but Rams Head has a place in many Portlanders' hearts. Now, the old standard bar on Northwest 23rd Avenue and Hoyt Street is closing its doors.
