Dave Matthews, who was part of a star-studded lineup of performers at a Los Angeles concert to raise money for wildfire relief, said on Wednesday he would not be able to perform.

Matthews, frontman of the Grammy-winning rock band Dave Matthews Band, withdrew from FireAid a day before the concert was scheduled to take place on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The singer also announced his inability to participate in the MusiCares Person of the Year benefit gala on Friday.

Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Pink and Sting are just some of the performers booked for the benefit.
