Entertainment giant Walt Disney Co. (DIS), which was under the scanner of the Florida state’s scanner over the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, is once again in the spotlight as Federal Communications Chair (FCC) Brendan Carr has recommended opening an investigation into the company’s inclusion practices.

The Federal Communications Commission is investigating ABC and its parent company Disney over its diversity, equity and inclusion actions, FCC Chair Brendan Carr announced Friday.

FCC chair Brendan Carr, after publicly musing that he might go after Disney over its diversity, equity and inclusion policies, made it official: The agency has opened a probe into DEI practices at Disney and ABC. It’s the latest warning shot from Carr against media companies in the Trump administration’s war against DEI.
