Lewis Hamilton has broken his silence after being involved in crash during his second test session with Ferrari. The seven-time F1 world champion left Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season after activating an exit clause in his contract and signing a lucrative deal with Ferrari, said to be worth £40 million per year.

The pairing of F1’s most popular driver and its most popular team has proven to be a marketer’s wet dream. However, as the focus shifts to the track, things aren’t going as smoothly for the seven-time F1 champion.

Ferrari’s rollout of Lewis Hamilton has hit its first bump in the road.

Taking to social media after the reported accident, F1 journalist Scott Mitchell-Malm wrote: "Lewis Hamilton crashed during Ferrari’s private test with its 2023 #F1 car at Barcelona. Made contact with the barriers and caused damage that can be repaired today.

It seems as though Lewis Hamilton might still be figuring out his footing at Ferrari's testing days. At least, based on the fact that the seven-time Formula 1 champion crashed during his second test day with the team, while testing in Spain.
