Rapper Lil Wayne described the lead-up to taking a now-viral photo with President Donald Trump in 2020, saying he doesn’t care about any backlash the photo brought him.

On the actual day of the 2025 Super Bowl, Wayne says he didn’t watch Lamar’s performance. Instead, he played pool during the set with Lil Twist, then went outside to smoke. He reflected on how the moment made him feel, coming to a conclusion that the desire to do it one day is now gone because “that feeling” was taken away from him.
