LONGVIEW, Texas — Longview youth will be able to use two city recreation centers for free under a new universal membership policy approved by the City Council.
A Longview man pleaded guilty Thursday, accepting a probation plea deal after crashing a vehicle into a tree and killing a passenger in 2022.
After discussion of recreation fee changes last month, it came before Longview City Council today for a vote and was unanimously approved.
The free event celebrates comics, graphic novels and related art. It will feature a gaming room, crafts, vendor booths and activities.
