The MBTA is testing new Charlie Card fare vending machines along the Orange Line and will expand to other locations in the future.
NJ Transit and Conduent Transportation announced a new contract to install state-of-the-art 3D gates at two stations in the Garden State.
Through this contract, Conduent Transportation will implement 72 gates in total at two of NJ Transit’s stations.
The agency is purchasing 72 new gates. They stand nearly 8 feet tall and are equipped with advanced sensors to prevent fare evasion.
