Broward County Regional Communications received a call about the shooting shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. When Pembroke Park police officers arrived, they found a woman, two toddlers and an older child dead in a fourth floor apartment. They also found a man and a girl suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 34-year-old man fatally shot a woman and three young children and injured another child before attempting to kill himself inside their apartment, authorities in South Florida said Friday.
