Pembroke Park town officials and Memorial Healthcare System are offering grief counseling on Monday following last week’s fatal shooting of a woman and her three young children in their apartment.

Broward County Regional Communications received a call about the shooting shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. When Pembroke Park police officers arrived, they found a woman, two toddlers and an older child dead in a fourth floor apartment. They also found a man and a girl suffering from gunshot wounds.

Law enforcement officials say a woman and three children have been fatally shot in south Florida and two others have been taken to a hospital.
