A handful of rescued bears in Europe are competing in March Napness, a bracket-style tournament to see what bear can stay in hibernation the longest.
They're just like, 'thank you for my bed and goodnight ... and their habitats, Four Paws hopes people following the tournament learn a thing or two from the sleepy competitors.
Hibernation, therefore, is not sleep because it takes a long time ... bed. Studies on captive giraffes have shown that they sleep an average of four hours per day, but this is only part of the story.
